my little cousin was doing some research for his science class or something, they're doing a unit on "skeptical analysis." so basically they have to find something dodgy and rip it to shreds, in this case on the topic of extraterrestrial life.

he send me a link, but i cant find it now unfortunately. there was this whole site about how aliens fitted into God's divine plan., apparently:

1. Jesus was an alien
2. Everyone born under the sign of pisces (including jesus, apparently) is at least part alien
3. it is immoral to have your half-human half-alien hybrid child baptised.

this was all serious stuff on the site. god i wish i could find it.

i rofled.

I am aware of this, but I've always been told that they believed he was born sometime between mid-december and mid-january.

nothing beats alexchiu.com though. his enthusiasm just kills me every time. and once i found a transcript of him being interviewed by this intelligent scientist who started off calm and ended up angrily ripping him to shreds and being totally frustrated because he wasn't getting through to him at all.

I'm not sure if she was making a joke or what but the early christians made the major christian holidays (xmas, easter) on pre-existing pagan festival days so it would be easier for the gentiles to convert.
