I suck at card games... I never can remember how to play them. My mom and I used to play gin all the time... I think I was pretty good, but I don't remember how to play it.

Q "
10, 9, 8, etc.
For red suits 10 is the highest down to 2, for black suits 2 is the highest and 10 is the worst.

I won't go any further unless someone knows what the fuck i'm talking about haha

Canasta is the perfect game you can get into and still care about the outcome, even though it doesn't deal with money. Playing it when you've got a couple hours to kill and you're really in the mood is best. Surprisingly, playing it with family is better than playing it with friends, as with family a calmer air takes hold than with friends who usually like to joke around and thus ruin the flow of a perfectly good canasta game.
