tonight, to celebrate xmas, our lawn caught fire

yup. we had those cute christmas luminaries for the first time. at first we put them on the steps but then my mom thought it would be cuter to line the sidewalk with them. a few hours pass and i go outside to see if any of the candles went out and about ten feet of our lawn was on fire. as my brother, sister and i were trying to put one side out the other caught fire. so yeah this came 20 minutes after a screaming match at the dinner table. merry christmas to us!

Sorry, I live in southern California where grass and most other foliage stays a bright green all year round.
