"if you see a glass and don't know if someone drank of it or not, or if the water or whatever was used in another way, the glass is half full too, since it has to be FILLED anyway before you can see such a thing."

i'm still not 100% sure about that. the glass could have been completely full or completely empty before it was halved. if you can never find out, then doesn't the question become irrelevant? the glass is just half. and that is infuriatingly unsatisfactory.

well it makes perfect sense to me. the glass must have been filled. so it's half full.

but yeah, who cares.
