haha i didnt mean it like that. liking freddy got fingered doesnt make anyone an idiot, but it does give an impression of what the persons like. most people here would translate that into someone pretty dim, or a specific kind of person. respecting that choice and having an opinion about it are two different things

Actually, I have CDs from two of the bands listed there: Korn and Slipknot... and yeah, I like them. I guess that makes me a bad person.

This thread was started about her roommates taste in music, not the roommate herself. I feel sorry for your parents, having a retarded child must really be hard on them.

You can have my ex-girlfriend... I got her in Floyd about a year ago.. she has decent taste in music. you'll have to move to Canada though, she's not a fan of long distance relationships.

my roommate doesn't have a stereo or even cds...i don't understand that at all. i can't fathom not being obsessed with music. i guess i'm weird? no, i think she is. usually people at least own a few cds, listen to the radio..something. and yeah, sorry about your roommate's tastes. it can get pretty annoying, i'm sure. i've always had roommates/friends with pretty good taste, however, in the past.
