cringe.
at least he was honest but hmmm blow to the ego.

Hey, it might be a blow to the ego, but you really should feel good about having the guts to tell him. You know? This is could just be a girl thing, but most of us (or maybe just the ones that I know) fear the rejection so much they won't say anything, therefore making themselves miserable. It sucks he doesn't return your feelings, but revel in the fact you were cool enough to tell him.

i'm usually the regector... but the one time i did muster up the courage to say I "had feelings" for someone was a disaster, of course.... but he was my friend.. and it was all good in the end..

him: okay.. is it important?
me: yeah, sorta :/ *starts to cry* (this is when i was having some serious emotional issues, i cried about everything)
him: how bout we talk now?
me: ...

him: *hugs me* im sorry.. but..

i don't really remember enouhg to quote anymore, but we were still really good friends after the week of awkwardness. he was a good guy. *thumbs up to him*

..Same thing happened to me when I asked out one of my friends..I'll tell you the story..

Ok..so me and my friend were in In-House at school one day..We were late to class..so the security guards sent us there..so anyway..I had all these emotions (..yea..I know..) for her..and I was too chicken to ask her to go out with me in person.. or.. orally..whatever..so I gave her a note that said "Wanna go out with me?" ..(shut up..I was a freshmen in high school..)..and she didn't say anything..and after In-House..she STILL didn't say anything.. and then I knew she didn't really want to go out with me..which sucks..because she had asked me out in a similar way during 8th grade..but I didn't answer he either..So our friendship at that time was basically ruined..and we had the same conversations you and this guy have now for a short while..but eventually after a year of awkwardness..we were back to normal.. like nothing had happened..Now when I think about the time she gave me the note asking if I wanted to be her b/f during eighth grade..I feel like crap..because I didn't have the same emotions for her as she did for me..and then when I felt something for her..she didn't have them for me.. Ugh.. that really bites if you think about it.. I'm getting tired now..so I'm gonna end this novel before I start babbling some more..

All I can say to you is..at least you took at risk you know..?..Uh..just think about that saying..It's better to have risked and loved..than to have never have risked at all..

errm last night, my friend Greg (who is always trying to get me laid even though i'm not looking to at this moment... it's more of a running gag between us) and I were talking to this waiter at our favorite mexican restaurant that we see all the time and Greg and I both think he's really attractive. So we're talking about something and Greg goes "yeah! Isn't she (meanign me) cute?" And the guys like "yeah she is cute! But that's all i'm allowed to say cos i'm engaged." So maybe that's a rejection? But maybe since he's engaged it's just not applicable. he did say "Bye cutie pie" after we left and bought us beers with our tip money.

ive never been rejected really but i never really sought after people, i just sort of followed people around at their work and shit... excpet for online i hit on people online all the time, but thats usually not a serious thing... i just like to flirt, or something... but now i have a boyfriend so i am lucky and don't have to risk being rejected to try to get laid.
