Hmm beer and liquor are so close in the price for drunkeness stakes.

But it really depends on the situation, if im sitting around the house ill go for a nice cold beer.

If im going out its Liquor cos i cant be bothered with toilet trips every pint or 2, never let me drink vodka straight from the bottle, when thats starts im gone.

I rarely get sick after drinking. I don't like beer at all, but I do like those malted drinks, like Smirnoff ice/triple black. I've recently discovered Barcardi Silver Low Carb Black Cherry, and it's yummy.

I love mixed drinks though. Southern Comfort and Cranberry juice - yum.

I really dislike beer. I guess most beer drinkers just drink so much of it, they get used to the taste.

Even though I am the most boring college student on the planet because I DON'T drink, the few times I did drink, it was liquor (mixed with other stuff/mixers). Never got sick, but then again, I never got "drunk"... only tipsy... and lost in a scary part of Dallas... with my high and drunk friends blowing up condoms like balloons and throwing them out of the windows at people.... :erm

ok , Smirnoff Ice is labeled as a "malt beverage" - i thought this was because so you could buy it in the grocery stores there? What does it taste like? Can you buy liquor in grocery stores in the US? Here Smirnoff Ice actually is a vodka drink/cooler.Our liquor is government regulated and I always wondered why they called Smirnoff Ice a malt beverage in the states advertising- but ithey don't up here?

Umm. Here in my city, you can't buy any liquor/beer in the grocery stores, you've got to go the "the strip" to the liquor store to buy it. But in some other cities in Texas, you can buy beer/malt bev. in the grocery store. And they're a lot cheaper than they are here.

I think you're right about selling it in grocery stores. Smirnoff Ice and Skyy blue can be sold in grocery stores (depending on the county, of course), but I don't know how many grocery stores sell hard liquor... if any?

I should get out more...
