Just today I discovered the existence of pressure sensitive shower faucets. If someone flushes a toilet or runs a sink while you are in the shower, the water pressure in the shower may decrease, but the temperature does not change! This blows my mind, since I am constantly scalded/frozen unexpectedly in the shower.
