Default Why does franz ferdinand start new songs in the middle of one that's already started?

This isn't the wrong board because Franz Ferdinand isn't music.

Maybe he's doing a medley. Each time I saw the White Stripes in concert last year they would play about 20-23 songs, and a lot of them would be blended together in a kind of medley of some sort. Like, he would start one song, then go into another, go back to the first song, and then into another song altogether.

I think it's cool when bands do that.

I haven't seen a lot of bands live, but they definitely top the list as far as performance go. They really put a lot of effort into a good show. When I saw them at the Warfield in SF two nights in a row it was nothing less than spectacular, but later that year I saw them at Berkeley's Greek Theater and it was a lot bigger than the Warfield, with more people; it was on campus so there were all these drunk frat jerks there... And their performance was subpar. I was a little disappointed, but every dog has his day or some shit.

Anyway... Medleys! Yep.

The White Strips can do that because all their songs sound like the same shitty song. Loud annoying guitar mixed with a little bitch boy screaming and an ac/dc drum beat.

Perhaps you'd be more comfortable back in the safe confines of house music, Matt. And no, I'm not defending Franz Ferdibland.
