My boyfriend dragged me to see it back when I worked at the theater and got to see movies for free. Thank god for that perk. After the movie ended he turned to me and apologized. Fucking right!

Though I have to admit to enjoying the scenes where he's on the roof top eating cookies with the little boy.

That's exactly what I thought when the movie came out. It wasn't just a spinoff sequel, but a shittier, lower budget one with worse actors.

I think the spinoff sequel thing was in jest. At least, I always used it in jest. I know it was based on a comic book, but I couldn't think about anything but the LoEG when I saw it.

now that i think about it, Hellboy does remind me of LoEG a bit.
