I've been to Randals Island tons of times. It sucks it's a horrible place to see a show. It's basically a huge concrete horseshoe under the tri-borough bridge. IF it rains your fucked, if it dose'nt rain your fucked cause dust will be blowing everywhere. There are no bathrooms, nothing, not even water fountains. If the promoters screw up and dont provide water your fucked. One year they had an ATM installed there but it charged like a 5$ service fee. This is where the infamous TSP show was where Billy spent the entire night fighting with the crowd (1994-08-07). The only reason people use it is it is the only large outdoor venue in all of NYC. Having said that thoough you realy can not even call it a venue. Just these concrete bleachers the city built in the 40's.
