My teacher is making my parents sign this

I'm a Senior this year and I'm taking a class called 'Life Management Skills' because it's required for graduation. As you would imagine, it's the stupidest class I've ever taken (aside from D.A.R.E. Man, those were the days). People usually take it their Freshman year, but I put it off to take music classes. The class is moronically is ridiculously easy, what, with its mindnumbingly redundant passages about the harmful effects of tobacco and unprotected sex. I generally look forward to 5th period to squeeze in a little mid-day nap.

The class is also full of Freshman so, apparently, that gives the teacher the impression that she should treat us just as the D.A.R.E. officer did, which is a fucking drag.

The teacher decided to wake up to give me a note that read:

Dear Mom/Dad,

My conduct in Ms. Simmons' Life Management Skills Class is below the standards of an attentive student. Tomorrow I plan to [insert 5 lines of blanks here] so Ms. Simmons and my classmates will not be disturbed by my actions.

[handwritten, at the bottom]

sleeps - almost daily
August 21 - unexcused abscence

Now, I'm obviously going to forge the parental signature, because there's no need to bother my parents with this. There really isn't.

The hard part is trying to think up something to put in that blank. I'm thinking something slong the lines of 'Tomorrow I plan to let Ms. Simmons know that i suffer from a rare physiological condition that requires me to have 22 hours of sleep per day so Ms. Simmons and my classmates will not be disturbed by my actions.'

any ideas?

i feel more sorry for your teacher. i remember having a class somewhat like that. talk about a waste of time and something that accomplishes nothing and changes no one.
i'm sure it's just her way of making herself feel like her job is important and not just a short-term answer to a long-term problem.

It may seem like a really stupid thing to do, but she's just trying to show that she cares somewhat about it. Write something stupid, forge a signature, and make her feel like she accomplished something.

i had a class just like that too. luckily my best friend was in it so we just goofed off. we ended up having enough time to play chess on paper, draw a comic book and design our own collectible card game.

I remember that class! I had a bad-ass teacher...we could talk all we wanted, cuss if we felt like it(so long as it was in the classroom), and she thought we were old enough to go to class if we wanted to or not. No guilt trips if we skipped a class or day of classes.
