I had so much fun yesterday.

One of my good friends left this morning to get her sister in PA, and I'm leaving for a vacation on Saturday....so this was sort of our last day of summer, and so we decided we should do something really fun. So the two of us, a good friend of ours, and a friend of hers that I'd only met one time previously but ended up being really cool took the train downtown.

We went to the Sears Tower after getting off the train, but we decided not to go up because it cost $10. heh. And then we took the free trolley to Michigan Avenue and went to Water Tower Place and ate at California Pizza Kitchen. Barbecue Chicken pizza with no onions. Good lord that is good. And the spinach artichoke dip there is really good too.

We went into the Lacoste store and did our best to avoid dirty looks. I tried on a polo, and it was pretty neat. But it was $70. So I didn't get it.

We then spent about an hour in The Sharper Image. Some of those massage chairs are fantastic. The one that massages your calves...mmm.

Then we went outside and visited Niketown and Guess.....and then stood outside the WGN broadcast booth until the guy that was on air at the time noticed us and waved. We then got bad directions to Navy Pier, and so it took twice as long as it should have to get there.....but once there we rode the 'wave swinger' and the ferris wheel.

Then we took a cab back to the train station and got Jamba Juice before boarding the train. Train ride was fun, of course.

And then when we got back, we went back to one of their houses and just hung around for a little while.

Good, clean fun.

I realized I should definitely have more of them. I wasted my entire summer. We could have done that like 16 times.

In high school me and 2 of my friends would have "tuesday's and thursday's with rob." Those were my 2 off days and we'd always hang out after school and do silly little fun stuff

That's cool. During the school year, I rarely get to do anything fun. Even the weekends are filled up with stupid crap a lot of times. Especially in the winter.

On an unrelated note, when the two kids I was with yesterday that go to my school graduate next year, I am going to be extremely sad.

Today, I'm perfectly content. Because yesterday was so nice and fun. Seriously. That's gonna go down as one of my favorite days ever.

Well. I really don't have any. I talked to my friend a little while ago....but we didn't come up with anything. He says he's probably going to visit his girlfriend later....but we might do something before that. I dunno. I'm gonna call him back in a little bit.

I'll probably end up going to this kid's house....it's where a lot of us end up going all the time. it gets old. but what can you do.

I'm working till 5 (2.5 more hours yay!) then I gotta be back at my other job at 10pm and work till 8am....I'll probably nap between jobs.
