I have been working since 6am, and I only have 20 minutes to shower and go back to work - its been a really long day. I know the new Ultimate Spidey came out today, but i can't find any info.

Oh well, I guess I'll know in 12 hours or so lol

Apparantly she joined with the alien symbiote (Venom?)
and is in some sort of stasis. It doesn't make sense.

Anyway, when you open up USM 63 lays it out in the previous issue recap in black and white it says "Gwen Stacy, high school student and houseguest of the Parkers, IS DEAD. She was KILLED outside their Forest Hills home by a mysterious red monster that has also killed several other people throughout New York city.

Very emotional issue, Bagley did a great job showing Pete's torment and horror over it. The scene where May finds Gwen's body is super creepy.

"Carnage" is a combination Connor's DNA, Peter's DNA & notes from Peter and Eddie's fathers on the "Venom" suit.

Peter freaks out in Connors and beats the crap out of him for about 2 pages. its awesome and he so deserved it.

nice bit of irony at the beginning when Peter sees some good press (for a change) about Spider-Man in the daily bugle website. He leans back and thinks to himself "Ah, what a great day. Today is Spider-Man Christmas". Then Aunt May calls him to say Gwen is dead.

I took my time reading this issue, re-reading practically every page after one look. Really let it sink in. I'll probably read it again after I read Ex Machina 1, Y the last man 25 and Batman 12 cent adventure 1.

The last 2 page splash pannel is awesome. Bagely's art is back on the upside. Next issue = lots of smashie smashie.

I was reading some of the Amazing Spider-Man vol. 2 issues last night where Aunt May discovers Peter is Spider-Man and they talk and then they go see Mary Jane in LA, good stuff. I like the character development, I skipped over the Doc Ock story.
