This is why I never read movie threads until I've actually seen it. Unless I really don't care, of course. Then again you can't always avoid it - I remember the Kill Bill 2 commercial had a pretty big spoiler in it

Though, once again, the major spoilers for The Villiage should be broadcast on CNN so people don't end up wasting time on it. Fuck that movie.

people dont even have to reveal some key plot twist or anything, an opinion or some random comment ("didnt x actors do amazing") can lessen it dramatically. trailers are totally villainous when it comes to this. there are times you can literally piece together the entire films plot from a bullshit trailer. ive never understood who the fuck makes trailers. really, they must hire some of the most inept, tasteless, useless fucking nyu grads they can get their hands on, it would be comic were it not so annoying.
