I have good tastes, too. And when the time calls for bad taste, I have the best of the best.

Not so much. Neither is prime rib for that matter. Edinburgh black pudding is probably the best food in the world.

Sushi's healthier. Seaweed and all (I don't usually like uncooked fish in mine - I especially like vegetable sushi). I have to stop thinking like this.

I have dreams of having sushi sex.

Fried chicken's the most elite food in the world. And mashed potatahs.

I wouldn't consider myself a 'food elitist', but because of my eating habits, I generally tend to eat really good food.

But I generally don't really like food.

We didn't eat like that every day, these things were treats, but we certainly didn't view it as hoity toity, like some of you seem to think it is.

By the same token, sometimes pop and KFC were treats because we didn't have that crappy shit in our house on a regular basis.

Oh of course, but they aren't "treats" to sppunk. He has them nearly everyday. He thinks his money allows him to have a higher opinion.

You do come across as a spoiled rich kid. I don't know if you knew that. Now you know.

just to let you all know, i haven't looked in this thread until now because it sounded boring, but i've been annoyed by the fact that it has been looming around near the top of the general with it's two-page status for so long.

die thread, die

I am not a food elitist but i did work in the kitchen of a 4 star restaurant and i got to enjoy some things i'd never eat normally like gnochi , truffles (mushrooms) , sorel , arugula , and venison to name a few. Unfortunately i don't really have the patience or kitchen equipment to make some of the recipes that i can still remember , but at least i could cook some interesting tasty food that's pretty creative if i needed to.

I like Chili's for what it is.
