Question So, anyone hear me on the radio today?

I was on the Don and Mike Show... (never heard of them before)

Actually, it was pretty ridiculous. I had planned to say some pretty meaningful stuff about what I thought about breast enhancement surgery and the fact that the military was wasting money handing it out, but I only got in about 2 sentances, which were questions from the guys about where I was stationed and what shoe size I was. (?)

Mark from http://www.kickasspictures.com was on the air with me, talking about the company, and of course Don and Mike start giggling like little schoolboys about funny porn titles and things of that nature.

Aah well. It made me laugh. Just a little sad I didn't get to say anything meaningful.

So you went on a radio show you had never heard of, and you expect someone might have heard you on it?

It was a national talk show... and apparently people did, since another thread just got made about it by someone else.

Uh, I said this in the other thread but I don't think you read it:

The military has given plastic surgery for free to active duty soldiers for nearly 40 years. I don't understand why this story, which the Today Show decided to make a big deal of three weeks ago, is being circulated on the Internet so much. They're about 40 years too late.

Yeah, I knew that, and I tried to mention it too... but then they started laughing about porn again.

I think it's coincidental that the Army would actively be seeking out people for it now. They made it known on Ft Hood before I left that there was a waiting list, then there was the story in the New Yorker a few weeks ago that started it (not the Today Show...)...

I wouldn't doubt a bit that recruiters are using free plastic surgery as a recruiting tool now. Those bastards are shady. And they are in need of more numbers.

My boss, who was in the military in 1966, had several free operations for things like face lifts, decrease wrinkles, etc. They simply didn't know that you could inflate a girls boobs to make her feel better about herself. I wish we still didn't know that.

The thing that really irks me is that they're claiming that they're doing it for "practice".

Practicing boob jobs is only going to make you better at boob jobs.

And if the Army really had a problem with getting good plastic surgeons, they'd just contract it out to civilians like they do everything else. It'd be a hell of a lot cheaper than having a doctor "practice" on whoever signed up for it.

It's because Bush runs the millitary, the media is left-wing, and it's a good time to start attacking.

They've always done it for practice, and it makes sense. They have to learn how to operate somehow, and surgery is surgery - you're cutting people and using skills you have learned in school no matter for what purpose.

And shit, giving a girl in the military a boob job isn't going to solve anything...

She's going to be home in bed for weeks because she won't be able to do any sort of physical training (can you imagine running after a boob job?) and the body armor is too constrictive...

And there's already a HUGE problem with sexual harrassment and people having sex and getting pregnant in Iraq and elsewhere. I'm sure big, bouncy fake breasts will help that situation too!

Take the money for the surgery and give it to the reserve units that have no body armor and hand-me-down broken equipment. Fuckin' A.

I was just offering you an example to refer back to that other thread that Debaser has turned into a grinding halt.

Meh. Like I said, the Army doesn't need plastic surgeons. They should just contract it out like they do everything else. Fake boobs and liposuction aren't helping the military at all. (How is liposuction practice at surgery anyway?)

I have my opinion and you have yours. I don't see any reason to get into it since we've done it before and no one will change their mind.

There are no "facts." If you think something is biased, that's an opinion. If you have other people's opinions to back you up, those aren't "facts."

how the fuck can you accuse somebody is being unfairly biased in a movie when you have not seen the movie, have not seen nor heard of him ever in your life?
