how big does he get? do you want my mom's hermit crab? She's kind of bored of it now. It never eats anything fun, like fruit. always just the crab food pellets. :erm

I dunno yet.. i should look that up.. his body's about an inch and a half long right now.. maybe...

he likes to climb to the top of the plan in the tank and watch over his domain.

we got two new gold fishies too.. i need to take pictuers!!

when i was younger my aunt had hermit crabs. and one time when my mom and her friend went out to eat i said loudly 'my aunt has crabs'!!! to my moms friend. a bunch of people heard me in the restaurant and my moms friend was like 'uhhh'. but then my mom told her what i meant. i was probably 6 or 7.

he's a red claw crab. freshwater (but appearntly can be brackish too.)

I bought a water snail for the aquarium at work, one of those orange ones, because I used to have one in my old tank at home years ago and it was cool. This snail at work seemed fine the first week, then I looked and it was just an empty shell. I was sad.

was there enough algea for him to eat?

our pleco that we had for like 3 years died a little while after i switched the fish to a new tank.. i think he had nothing to eat because the tank was cycling and stuff.

I used to have a hermit crab. I named it Elvis. But then, when it came time for me to move again, I donated it to a local grade school's science class. I assumed it would be a class pet. I hope they didn't dissect it or something.
