i laugh when i see that commercial about the kid getting excited about mowing the lawn. i think it may be old navy? the second part of it is dumb, but the first part is nice. did you get excited like that kid did?

Dude. You're supposed to mow the lawn only really early in the morning or later in the evening like 7 or 8 when the sun isn't so fierce. It's too hot in Texas during the summer to be doing it in the afternoon hours. I mowed the lawn yesterday.

Oh I know, I meant to do it this morning but I had senior orientation. But when I left at 8am, it was already hot as hell And I have work in 30 minutes, so I can't do it tonight. Stuck doing it in the middle of the day... Ouch. Thank god for sunblock.

And yeah I know it's Texas, but that doesn't make it not hot lol - it's been relatively cool this summer due to all the rain and stuff.

Wink

It's a comfortable 83 degrees here.

It was a little hot this morning, and I was sweating my ass off on the way to the bus...but it felt good once I got on the air conditioned bus (then I remembered what summertime in Chicago was all about)

But, yeah, that sucks.

it was like that about a week or two ago here. now it is cold and cloudy!
The coast is looking to be in the mid 60's all week, which is bad because I wantted to go horse back riding on the beach this week. but on the other hand in-land where I am at for work is in the upper 70's

yeah. the weather here is pretty perfect. the air is really dry so ive had a few nosebleeds since ive been here. its weird. because when i sweat i cant feel it. it just happens. in dallas the humidity was horrible. im not saying it never gets hot here. but there is no a/c and im not dying. in dallas i'd probably pass out bad time. i cant wait until fall. i want to see what it looks like here. i cant wait to play in the snow. oof. yeah.
