when iwas a senior in high school a few friends of mine and i went to this "peaceful rally" to provide opposition to some retard group of housewives and their sons and daughters. they were followers of that preacher who went to matthew shepherd's funeral (remember that guy?) and held up signs like "god hates fags" and "god made aids for fags" or whatever. there were like 10 of them and 100 of us. it was at the university of las vegas and people who drove by and saw the "god hates fags" signs were flipping them off. but we just held up happy signs and wore rainbows and held hands and sang john lennon songs.

as far as i rememebr, they tried holding a "god hates fags" rally at a nearby church and ended up leaving after 20 minutes or so because nobody was paying attention.

the absoloute saddest part of the whole ordeal was that those women holding up the signs brought their children. there was a 5 or 6 year old holding up a "fags will burn in hell" sign. that still gets to me. fucking sick.

I remember those signs. and yeah, what the fuck were those women doing outside of the kitchen?
