i'm 'spearminting

(that's an inside joke for those of you whoh ave read The MOsquito Coast. if not, go read it)
I ws at a friend's house the other day. she and her husband have both been a huge influenceon my life growing up, and so sometimes when i have something really big to deal with I talk to her.

I was just talking to her about this one problem I was dealing with, and then I got into how i personally deal wiht things. I was telling her how I'm kind of a control freak and if you know me personally, you know that I"m pretty much consistent and don't have huge fluxuating mood swings. Il ike to keep my extreme feelings to a minimal. So she was saying that she used to be the same way and it led to all sorts of problems (for her it manifsted itself in skin problems) because she kept bottling thigns up and it was stressing her body out. at that time I was talking to her i was goin through a REALLY stressful time about htat oz guy and i had a realy bad pityriasis rosea rash. So she said hmm you need to start letting it out more. Talk about it, don't keep iti nside etc. Sounded like good advice.

SO here's where you come in.

I'm going to let this be my ranting place.. kinda like suze does. I expect you all to hate me by the end of the week but fuck it. i've been here like 4 years or whatever and I still don't know more than two people online that I'd actually like to meet. vs. my other board where i've met like 5 andw ant to meet a bunch more. Don't get me wrong, there are cool people here it's just for some reason i haven't gotten to KNOW them. But that's a whole other discussion as to why that is.

So in the effort to find a balance between mental and physical health, you might suddenly find an influx of inane rants. Sorry, guys, I'm not holding back anymore.

Don't take this the wrong way Elisa, but didn't you used to be able to type and spell and stuff? It just feels like Flava's got hold of another username or something :/

#1 it's a messageboard. i'm not typing a term paper here. you can give me that whole "it affects how you come across bit," but i honestly don't give a damn. Plus i just get excited and write fast and don'tw ant to go back and correct it.
#2 it was cold this morning and i had just waken up, so i was more incoherent than usual.

ANd yeah i'm glad i'm not the only one noticing the lack of connection here. It's weird cos on my other MB it's the exact opposite. If i find out one of them lives in my area it's like HEY let's meet up! But here i'm like eh.

Maybe it has somethignt o do with the nature of conversation. we're always trying to outdo each other and be silly. plus there are, honestly, a lot of unappealing depressed people on here. ah thejoys of smashing pumpkins.
