How long can it take to write a comic book? Like a couple hours? Plus, I don't think there is quite as much money in the "graphic novel" business as there is in movies.

well no, it takes quite a while to write a good comic book script. the thing is, he was meant to be writing Amazing Spidey for a while from early 2003 onwards, probably for a 12 issue run or something, but it doesn't look like it will even happen anymore.

well, a bunch of writters were named for the project, some View Askew alums among them - I think Kevin is just lending them a hand.

I'd love to see his writting style for comedy directed by the Zucker who made AIRPLANE. Smith just wanted to work with him, and I doubt PART III of the Scarry Movie really hand anything to dow withh it. 'sides, Kevin punches out scripts at a rapid fire pace the comic book will probably still come out.

'sides, I also heard this will be more of a sci-fi / fantasy parody - but that's just from a talkback on AICN. if it was that, then why do it in the scarry movie franchise?

Smith is still the man.
