i've never been to protection island!

I have been to NEWCASTLE island... haha its just something you can hike around and camp on.

I am going to saltspring next weekend (maybe) and going to Quadra on August long weekend so maybe I can tell you more then!

Gabriola is apparently really cool too... i have friends that used to live there. All i know is that you can get really good mushrooms on Gabriola and everyone grows their own weed.

ok. well we had a friend from Nanaimo visit us on the weekend. he's in charge of the military reserves there. he's a hippy-turned-redneck so it was funny listening to his stories about all the crazies that live on the others over there.
