Default flight for 2 €

5 hours waiting during the night in front of the computer and now I fly to London and back to Cologne for just 2€...the german airline germanwings sold 50.000 flights for 1€ but they did not say when the sale starts. Now I haven`t slept for 23 hours but London will see me in 5 weeks! I love this city...7 a.m. now, working in 4 hours...

I don`t know how cheap flights are in the States or Canada but since a few months flying across Europe costs around 19 $...now more airlines come up and germanwings made this kind of promotion.
They said on December 6, they will sell 50.000 tickets for 1 EUR...but they didn`t say when tickets will go on sale. I waited the whole night until 5 a.m. and now it`s nearly 8 a.m. and I am totally happy to have a flight to London and back. HAd to share it, sorry :erm

they sell about 5-10 seats per flight for this price. normally it's without taxes, security fee and airport fees, so it normally ends up a bit more expensive, but it's still way cheaper than going by car or train. i love low-cost carriers. Plus they don't give you food on board (unless you buy it), the room betwee seats is the closest laws allow, and the use not the big airports but smaller provincial ones (in londond they don't fly heathrow or gatwick, they use stansted). me and my sister flew from salzburg to london for a total (including everything) of 90 EUR in 2001 back, this *******d both tickets and the flight back. in 2000 i flew from vienna to london to see the pumpkins for about 180 EUR. as i said. i love low cost airlines
