Maybe you missed this.

"I would advise against fluoridation.. Side-effects cannot be excluded .. In
Sweden, the emphasis nowadays is to keep the environment as clean as possible with regard to pharmacologically active and, thus, potentially toxic substances."
- Dr. Arvid Carlsson, co-winner of the Nobel Prize for Medicine (2000)

The American Medical Association is NOT prepared to state that no harm
will be done to any person by water fluoridation. The AMA has not carried out any research work, either long-term or short-term, regarding the possibility of any side effects." - Dr. Flanagan, Assistant Director of Environmental Health, American Medical Association.

From August 1995 to August 1996, the American Dental Association's list of endorsements diminished by the following eleven national associations and organizations.

* American Cancer Society
* American Heart Association
* National Kidney Foundation
* American Academy of Allergy and Immunology
* American Diabetes Association
* Society of Toxicology
* Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Activation Network
* American Psychiatric Association
* American Chiropractic Association
* American Civil Liberties Union
* National Institute of Law Municipal Officers

I'll post it again in case you missed it.

oh.

* Society of Toxicology
* Society of Toxicology

Yeah, I admit it. These are all my websites. This is what I do when I'm not posting on Netphoria.

Oh, and in case you missed this:

"The American Medical Association is NOT prepared to state that no harm
will be done to any person by water fluoridation. The AMA has not carried out any research work, either long-term or short-term, regarding the possibility of any side effects." - Dr. Flanagan, Assistant Director of Environmental Health, American Medical Association.

"I am appalled at the prospect of using water as a vehicle for drugs.
Fluoride is a corrosive poison that will produce serious effects on a
long range basis. Any attempt to use water this way is deplorable."
- Dr. Charles Gordon Heyd, Past President of the American Medical Association.

"E.P.A. should act immediately to protect the public, not just on the cancer
data, but on the evidence of bone fractures, arthritis, mutagenicity and other effects." - Dr. William Marcus, Senior Toxicologist at E.P.A.

And since you seem to like big text:

The fluoride used for water fluoridation does not have FDA approval and is considered by the FDA as an "unapproved drug".

Since fluoride is already in many foods and beverages, an estimated total intake of existing fluoride amounts is imperative. Research shows fluoridation is unnecessary since we're already receiving 300% or more of the American Dental Association's recommended daily amount.

Way 2 go! Requote your quotes.

1. The Association endorses community water fluoridation as a safe, beneficial and cost-effective public health measure for preventing dental caries.

The respected magazine Newsweek, advised the public that "political decisions [about fluoridation] were at odds with expert advice"

Instead of admitting that someone else might have a point, you walk away.

Good one.

When you lose your job, are you going to have a community college degree to fall back on, or are you just going to rely on McDonald's experience? The fast food industry's always booming.

The American Dietetic Association reaffirms that fluoride is an important element for all mineralized tissues in the body. Appropriate fluoride consumption is beneficial to bone and tooth integrity, and as such, has an important, positive impact on oral health and overall health.

I guess we would just have to look at a baby's teeth which are fresh and healthy and stuff and compare them to the whitest of white teeth.

You make me laugh.

I work for a fortune 1000 company, that is steadily growing. In fact my shares in the company are the only part of my portfolio that is constantly growing. In the past year and a half, I've yet to lose a dime. As well, the stock has an annual return of 3.29%, and a life return of 12.76%.

"X is operating in 46 countries with more than $3 billion in annual revenues. With unequalled levels of growth and client retention, X is 37,000 people strong and growing."

i don't think a person can really be against something unless they do something about it.

there are many things in this life that may harm us.... chemicals in the water, air, our food, everything. the fact is, flouride has not yet been proven to cause tumors/death/etc..... so i'm going to keep on using it b/c frankly something else will probably get to me first.
