ARGH, i wish i never read this book. Ian Curtis is put forward as a real sexistic pig, didn't take care of his child, screwed around like crazy with other woman than Deborah Curtis, disliked when she talked to other men or wore clothes that showed any skin. The lyrics doesn't seem to have a lot to do with the person he was, a cold, insensitive bastard who just wanted to be famous.

yes, actually in the book, it says that when they found him, he had a big string of saliva going down from his chin. And then deborah licked it of, so no one would see the state he was in. I think that is a totaly reasonable thing to do
