A secret show announced just a couple of days before, due to a suddenly cancelled festival in the Canary Islands. The setlist goes as follows:
SET: 01. Black diamond [Kiss] 02. Zero 03. Bullet with butterfly wings 04. Today 05. Starla 06. The beginning is the end is the beginning 07. Quasar 08. Panopticon 09. Tonite reprise / Tonight, tonight 10. Ava adore 11. Neverlost 12. The everlasting gaze 13. Oceania 14. 1979 15. Cherub rock 16. Muzzle ENCORE 1: 17. Disarm 18. Space oddity [David Bowie] 19. X.Y.U. ENCORE 2: 20. Black diamond [Kiss] Billy was in really good spirits throughout the gig. Classic 'Venom/Black metal' t-shirt and lots of spitting in every direction. Contagious enthusiasm. Although I didn't expect too much from the show, I'm tempted to think about it as the best Pumpkins show I've been to. 'X.Y.U.' ripped the place apart. Yes, I know it sounds surreal, given the current line-up (Mike Byrne does vocals in 'Black Diamond'), but it's been special in an unexpected way. |

So why Black Diamond twice? Was it the full version both times? Is it still the tired arrangement of BWBW?

No clue about the duplicate 'Black Diamond'. 'Bullet', although not in its original form, had a slightly more tolerable and cleaner arrangement than the one we had endured in the last trillion years. But, urgh, the pounding toms are still there...

I guess the first Black Diamond was just over the PA. They've used that before on the Fall '07 tour.
