I thought this was going to be a racist thread about Iha living in Japan.

"Iha live in Japan

you're thinking of China. Japanese people don't eat cats and dogs.

Japan is actually civilized and contributes to the world while China does not. It's a pretty glaring difference, if you ask me.

the HU podcast is interesting. sounds like there was a fair amount of promotion in Japan for this concert (which included a lot of other bands). But james showed up and only played 5 songs.

I kinda like that Gemini song on first listen. When I last checked out Let it Come Down, maybe a year ago, I was reminded of a few songs that I found enjoyable. I would say his style hasn't changed too much.

eh, i wouldn't say they're really, really good, but they're decent, much better than his last album, anyway.

really enjoying make believe and gemini... Some of the vocals were a little shaky but James was always much better in the studio than live anyhow..

I'm actually really looking forward to the new album!

So far from what I've heard: Look to the sky > Oceania

This is comparable to the output James has done before. Were you expecting a rock opera?

I was kind of just "meh" about these. I'm reserving judgment for the album. I think they'll sound better with more instrumentation.
