Default Fans of the HBO television program "The Wire"

Spotted Clay Davis/Isaiah Whitlock in Goodfellas. It's at the start of the third act where Henry goes to pick his brother up at the hospital and he's all sweaty and coked out, Whitlock is the doctor. He doesn't really have any lines because there's the voice over but he says some stuff and you get a good shot of his face and it's definitely him.

Sheeeiiiiiiiit, patna.

funniest thing is that he seems not to have aged at all. maybe he's involved with the NWObama conspiracy.

I started watching The Wire again recently, which speaks volumes seeing as how I only watched it for the first time in February.

Really nice to be able to go into it again and absorb a lot more of what's going on. I totally forgot about the Narcotics Anonymous guy being in the first season, probably because I wasn't paying a huge amount of attention to the Bubbles subplot.

The DVD commentaries are greatness, especially the ones featuring Bunk. I live you for making this thread about every week.

Gentlemen,

I'm renaming my NBA 2k8 draft classes after characters from the HBO television program, "The Wire."

SG Jimmy McNulty was #1st over all to the Houston Rockets, followed by SF Omar Little to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Regards,
Brendan

He was also in the Ed Norton film 25th hour as a police officer investigating Norton for his drug dealing.

Deffo watch it! It did lose its way towards the end. I think 6 is better than 5 though. The final episode wraps it up nicely and it ended at the right time but i still miss it.

I've watched every season about 5 times.

For me ,without the success of Oz there would be no Sopranos.

What i mean is that it was the first hour long tv show that handled subject matter not seen on television at that time. It paved the way for Shows like Sopranos etc. It was so rich, each episode felt like a quality film! I do like Sopranos though just not as much as Oz or The Wire.
