1. how are bc/jc going about about "building" pumpkinland 2.0? who do you think they consult on what equipment to buy or do they know it all themselves? (cuz i'd be impressed if they did.)

2. what direction do you think they'll take on the next album. i keep imagining something folkier and rootsier for some reason. or at least something very stripped-back and written/recorded quickly- like adore perhaps, but with more of a pre-gish new wave vibe would be kinda refreshing.

3. 20th anniversary show coming up in october- will james and darcy turn up? >_> (someone on the inside hinted to me that jeff and ginger are not necessarily permanent members, so the door is always open...)

they already bought a place right? i think they do have a very good idea as to what equipment they need and actually have a lot of it already

i dont think they are going to make something stripped back or recorded quickly because they said they wanted to go for something bigger and more in depth, stretching their abilities to the limits like a siamese dream or mellon collie.

no, they have said multiple times that james and d'arcy were not interested in rejoining, why would they all of a sudden come back because its been 20 years since the band started? they dont care.

That's great that the door is always open. I figured Billy would be too bitter to let James back in after he rejected him. I'm not getting my hopes up for D'arcy but James might be a possibility.

darcy probably doesnt remember how to play the Bass, james won't come back unless he has a reason to, he obviously didn't need the money nor the creative outlet, he obviously isn't friends with billy/jc so that isnt a reason to come back either - really james has no reason to come back unless he wants to be famous again, and i have a feeling he really isnt that type of guy.

it is also obvious that pumpkins will always just be bc/jc regardless of who the touring musicians are, and that is probably how the pumpkins as a company are set up also, i doubt they will ever let other people into the company to make the big bucks.

1. i don't know anything about recording studios or the equipment that goes into them so i honestly couldnt say

2. you know what i've always wanted billy to do? make a 5 song album all 12+ minute epics. he's been using the 4 minute average song length and token epic for too long now... take a chance
