i think there should be a competition to see who can write and record the best song in one day...however there would be now way to tell if someone is cheating and using they previously did.

Hardly use it.

I dont like common guitars. PRS, Fender, Gibson, everyones got one and they are overpriced.

dont be a jackass. my strat and my gibson are the best guitars i own. the strat i built myself and it only cost me 500 bucks. its completely versatile and plays better than anything ive seen come out of a factory besides maybe a parker one piece. i understand the brand name adds to the price tag, but a great guitar is a great guitar, name or no name.

I play a Gretsch also - a duo-jet

Your guitar is very similar to mine, what amp are you running it through for these songs? They sound cool.

those songs are through a little fender practice amp - its a champion model from around 93 (when i started playing guitar) - i also have a jmp-1 through a mesa 50/50 but i haven't really recorded anything in about 2 years so haven't messed with trying to record - although the jmp-1 has a speaker emulator so when i do decide to record some new stuff it shouldn't be too bad if the sound is ok. i love my gretsch!

Theres an actual picture of it, complete with green strap with my blood on it when i got a nosebleed at my first gig haha.

Yeah i go to denmark street every fortnight or so, big guitar shops, i must say, i like the les pauls and telecasters, but to be honest they dont have a certain sparkle to them. Telecasters are too easy to play, its hard to describe. Although my next guitar will probably be a tele, just for the clean sound you can get with them, either that or a duesenberg. Those things are lovely.
