NYC will be on there too. Either the Garden or Continental Airlines (in NJ).

Yes! That was probably my favorite time I saw them. I was right next to that dumb pole in the middle of the floor, about 10 feet from the stage. That would be ideal. Too bad Tramps closed though. Irving would be great, but that's too small.

Anybody else do the itunes preorder? I kind of wanted a hard copy of the album but I figure maybe the ticket presale will make this thing worth it.

Maybe not...I think they could do a date there. Maybe not multiple dates, but one night at msg seems like it would be doable.

I would def. make the trip down for that show. And pray that I'd end up with good seats!

The Garden is modified all the time to seat less than capacity. They don't have to sell out all 18k seats.

never knew that, but makes perfect sense. they do that @ the SkyDome in Tornoto too, that's how I saw Radiohead.

The Garden is really easy to get to for everyone living in the tri state area.

All i have to do is hop on the train from jersey and i'm there in 45 minutes.

I would love it if they played there(MSG). although i probably won't have Mosh pit tickets like the MCIS Tour.( That shit was off the hook)

I bought Genesis tickets for Giants stadium and they later anounced a date for MSG and boy was i pissed about that.

The problem with the Garden is their fees are insane. If the band wants to make more money, they will play at Continental. Playing MSG is all about the prestige. It will "look better" if they play MSG.

They have sold out MSG in the past, do they have the following now to do it? I am not sure.

I think they could sell out MSG easily. Hell, Zwan sold out Hammerstein which seats about 3,700 ppl. Billy solo played two consecutive dates to packed houses at Webster (1,400 cap.). He always does well in NY.

Especially when you factor in that TFE only sold 73,000 units and he still was able to sell a lot of tickets, I think SP will be just fine here.

Depends on the city. To expect them to sell out MSG isn't far fetched, especially if they cut the capacity down to 10 - 12K and open up more tickets as the show gets close to selling out.

I for one am very curious to see what size venue they'll pick. my first time in 1996 was to a arena full of ~17,000 people. The venues got smaller & smaller each time after.

Dudes. This is not the Pumpkins from the top of the world in 1996. This is a band that is back without an album even out yet. They will NOT be playing a place like MSG or Continental, at least not yet. if this album sells really well, I could see the next leg of the tour (if there is one) to be at the Garden or an arena like that. They are not that big anymore. Jesus. Roseland or Hammerstein would definitly be more like it. Last I saw them was Hammerstein. Awesome place for shows. Roseland is ok too.

I hope they pick decent sized venues or i have no chance of seeing them.

Tickets sell out so fast and i can't exactly get them while i am at work.

You wanna bet?

Trust me. It's going to be MSG or Continental. I know for a fact.
