I was speaking more about its cultural impact/importance and not necessarily its quality. I actually listened to it for the first time this morning and enjoyed it quite a bit. But from a distance, it appears as one of those things that came and went. It got good reviews but ultimately did nothing to boost his career. Think Oceania. Of course, I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I would be surprised if this was some blockbuster release I wasn't aware of.
I mean, outside of John Wick, I had never heard a note from the thing until today, so ¯\_(ツ)_/ ¯
