Closer to Ministry. They basically started out post-punk, kinda moved into industrial rock over a very long period. Dipped into new wave through the mid-eighties, were forced to re-brand the lead singer's abysmal solo album as a KJ album. Nearly killed the band. They went away for a while, slowly came back through the 90's as an actual industrial rock act. Went full industrial metal with their self-titled in 2003 which blew everyone the fuck away. Most every album is worth checking out, just stay the fuck away from
Outside The Gate. Recommend the 1980 self-titled, Night Time, Pandemonium, Democracy, the 2003 self-titled and Hosannas From The Basements of Hell in particular.
