It’s a madness. I feel sorry for people like you who just want to be good people and get on with your lives in relative safety, but due to factors outside your control (and to be honest I see no chance of the US ever making the “right choice”) you’re stuck with the spectre of some mentally deranged person taking all their frustrations on a bunch of innocent kids.
I live in a place where I don’t have to live with the fear of something like this ever happening. Conversely, I don’t live in a country where we feel we need to be armed in the case of the gummint goes rogue or whatever 18th century bullshit people hang their hat on.
