i haven't been really watching any shows for a long time, this seems like a good place to start.

and i agree about shows that shouldn't really begin or end anywhere.

but lots of premises, more than anything else, just feel writer-lazy.
any asshole can get off on an exciting premise. re: lost
it's pulling it together and twisting and turning that makes it count.
