I paid a little over $150 CDN and for me it completely is. There's shit going on in these songs I've never heard before, and I've been listening to MII in lossless form for years.

Maybe it's part of the vinyl analog experience or what have you, but I'd swear there's a lot more definition going on on this thing than I'm used to hearing.

I compiled a list of stuff I noticed while I was listening, so here it is largely unfiltered:

Glass - Holy shit this sounds brighter

Cash Car Star - Crunchy, edgy

Dross - Background guitar FX stand out a lot more

Real Love seems a lot less ear rapey, wall of sound effect is lessened. Feels spacier, lighter.

Bass more audible in Go, James' voice stands out more

Innosence - Bass audible, more noticeable background piano at points, guitars seem further up front somehow

Home - Strumming more audible in opening, hearing more reverb in vocals, same with Jimmy's drumming towards the end.

BSBT - Bassier, brighter, more definition in drums. Never really noticed how insane the drums were on this until now. individual reverbed bits in "until I go blind" more audible.

White Spyder - Feels less blown out, kinda. Bass more audible, overall sounds a bit darker. Drums sound further back, not as dominating as I'm used to

In My Body - Much more audible bass. Background guitar notes stand out more. Brightness very apparent. "In my life" lasts a second or so longer than I'm used to hearing. Ebow a bit more audible through song in background and there's a cool little wavy part towards the end I don't think I ever heard until now.

If There Is a God - Synths seem a touch more defined

Le Deux Machina - Brighter, more reverb.

Atom Bomb - Pulse is clearer. Strumming seems cleaner. Inflections in Billy's voice more audible.

Slow Dawn - Billy's voice seems less up front, drums have more punch.

Vanity - There's a Bassy bit at the start I've never heard before, Billy's voice likewise seems a bit less up front

Saturnine - Tape hiss still audible. Guitar kinda feels like it has more edge, individual riffs more audible at end of song. Billy's voice seems a bit further up or is at the least better defined. Fade out. The audio glitch at the end of the Q101 version that's up on archive.org isn't present on this, it fades out.
