Over the years the pretentious spiritual bullshit Billy has become semi-real. Due to being rich, famous and uneducated he’s disconnected from real life and has found “real” identity and meaning in the things he used to pretend to be.
Meanwhile, and for the same reasons, he’s never had to grow up and leave his childish and jockish interests behind. He’s a “new money” shit head who had worked hard but not nearly as hard as he thinks. He buys wrestling companies because that’s the dumb shit he’s always wanted, he’s never had to work hard enough to see the absolute waste of time such things are.
