The guy put out a decent, (mostly) tasteful album, is playing great setlists, and seems to have a newfound appreciation for his audience. In 2017 that should be successful enough

CORGAN himself set a benchmark on OGILALA:
"The difficulty is working out how this music fits in the world. It’s not easy to get on the radio and all those traditional things - it's hard to market.
