[QUOTE spoiler: they played pretty much the same set every time![/quote]

YES!!! that fuckin shows me Billy sold out, because he used to take pride in mixing up the setlists nightly, with re imagined live versions of songs, covers, new songs, experimental jams, variations, etc. Now same setlist every night. Whats the point? SP's popularity went down hill once they started that shit, playing same songs, note for note album renditions, every single night with no change at all. Sometimes even with multiple shows in the same town, ie: two or three nights in a row = same setlist. I loved SP when in 94, 95, 96, etc I used to check here, at spfc.org, etc daily to see what songs were played, what new surprises there was. He sold out. Lost the fun and imagination he had. And it translates to his music. Sure, blame teh fans. But you know what? Im a fan, been here for a looong time, and thats why I loved SP, collected all their bootlegs, there was an energy to it.

Now, meh.......
