so in other news, my hard drive decided to finally cunt off today without warning, after performing horribly and shitting in my face for the past few months. truly a last 'fuck you'. i thought i may have lost a ton of important shit i still hadn't had the chance to get backed up, but i figured out how to go about it. bought an SSD drive and a sata->usb box, and spent the day picking apart the files i could and could not restore.
thankfully and luckily i lost almost nothing too important, and have been able to retrieve all the things i was mainly worried about. and also now i'm upgraded to windows 10 and have a sizzling hot SSD drive and it feels like a new laptop. paid about a hundred bucks for a 256GB samsung drive.
