King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime blows their sound even wider open than Angel Dust and has a lot going on musically speaking; Just a Man, Evidence etc are signature FNM. Then Album of the Year kind of blurs together a bit. It's a little murky and mushy. They were tired of being a band at the time and it really showed. Sol Invictus meanwhile is all eras beautifully tied together and somehow not sounding at all dated.
