i hate anything goat-y and just can't eat it - but I have once, at a hippie church meeting for Christian environmentalists, eaten a goat's cheese sandwich, because enough fresh herbs and garlic drowned out the taste of the sustainable but disgusting goat's milk cheese.

After that I became brave and accepted a taste of some chèvre from a cheese counter and it really took all the strength I had, to swallow it instead of spit it on the floor and paw desperately at my tongue.
