DING DING DING. Someone who gets it. If you get to the point where you have to practice and rehearse to mimic how you once played, it's kind of pointless.
People get older. They adopt more influences, and frankly, become better musicians as they go on in life.
You know... just remember... somewhere the poor guitarist from Limp Bizkit is out there playing "Nookie" at some casino gig. He is a master guitar player who cites Bjork as his favorite artist. He probably has been listening to a lot of John Coltrane and Delta blues music. Yet, he is out there playing "Nookie" night after night.
He wrote some horrid rap/rock riffs when he was 21, and now wears it around his neck like a 1000 ton anchor.
People want this version of SP to mimic what the poster looked like on their bedroom wall, but it really dosen't matter at this point. They aren't a band anymore. You can't have more. The 28-year-old Billy Corgan in his ZERO shirt, screaming the lyrics to an overflow audience isn't going to ever happen again.
