I say go for it, and ask multiple questions if you have to.
A friend of mine was at the last show at the Orange Peel and he said that when Billy came out to talk to people after the show that no one knew what to say, so after standing around for a while being awkward, Billy said, "well, gotta go". Haha. So I'm sure it'll be good to at least to have something to talk about.
