I miss RTCW.

So many good memories. On PC I remember playing that and eating eggs with toast in my childhood home. So much fun. When it later came out on Xbox my buddy and I were at one point ranked the 1 & 2 players in the world in the standings but that was mostly because we had discovered a glitch that allowed us to exploit the point system. Still really good at that game regardless.

That's a lost art in FPS though, the assault mode in RTCW and UT. Assault for UT was thing of fucking beauty. Clan matches were so much fun with that because each map could be mastered where if everyone worked together to hit all the shortcuts each map could be beat in less than 1 minute if the other team didn't stop you. You'd then go in a pub match and they would be played out to the full time limit or people unable to even beat it.
