I know this makes me a terrible person, but I always feel deep resentment whenever I come across Instagram pages where people can amass thousands of likes just by standing and being attractive. Especially if they aren't even proper photographs, but just bathroom-mirror cellphone selfies.
Just knowing that I would never be able to get that validation. Even by posting actual content that takes effort, like photography or art and shit. Like, I'm under no illusion that I'm a remarkable artist, but I feel like what I do still has more merit than a duckface in a public restroom.
The eternal neckbeard in me just REEEEEEEs at the glamour models of the world, even though what they do is totally valid and a mutual exchange between them and the people who consume their product and it doesn't affect me in any way.
And now I feel embarrassed, knowing that Vixnix could have totally authored a post like this.
