yes, Pinwheels did it, it got me back into realty for a few minutes.

I had started to silently weep at Once in a While (finally, 17 years in the making, I can now retire from going to gigs. I got married to that song okay...OKAY?), so since the ship to pretend to be somewhat normal had already sailed anyway, I decided to keep going for Soothe and To Sheila. The full package of MY SONGS continued, so by the time of the encore I had established the very sexy artform of simultaneously grinning like an idiot and straight up bawling.

I know no shame. It's been a rough month, going to that gig was likely the best thing I did the entire year.
