there's a lot of reasons why i would definitely like to leave the US (many of them orange). i used to think just going to hawaii (pretending i could afford that) would be isolated enough, but now hawaii is basically a giant target for North Korea. ugh. maybe somewhere in the southern hemisphere would be a good place to end up. i don't know a thing about the immigration laws of NZ but it could be worth looking into. i'm too afraid of war, guns, corporations, and bible thumpers to live here. a total fish out of water.
