Yeah same. SP is just more interesting when Billy is working with the original peeps. Can't really give a logical explanation as to why, it just is. Right now, some mystique has been restored in the name, since everyone is doing different things and may or may not reconvene, as if the last ten years were some weird side story.
I know that realistically, I can't expect any new music to be great. But there are some nice moments on OGILALA. And if James gets to contribute a song or two on a hypothetical new record, I'll probably enjoy that as well. Jimmy seems to imply that if these sessions happen, they're going to be somewhat collaborative, maybe in the way MCIS was.
